• A report on African migrants trying to reach Italy referred, owing to an error in the editing, to a transfer to Italian mainland camps of "the 3,000 Tunisians to have reached Lampedusa since the collapse of the Tunisian government in January". To clarify: an estimated 22,000 north Africans have arrived on the Mediterranean island so far this year, mainly Tunisians. The 3,000 are part of this total (Fears grow for 400 missing at sea as Italy tackles Lampedusa's migrant bottleneck, 4 April, page 7).
• When Queens Park Rangers defeated Partizan Belgrade 6-2 in the first leg of the second round of the 1984-85 Uefa Cup it was not at Loftus Road, as we had it, but at Highbury (Giving up a four-goal lead - QPR style, 7 April, page 5, Sport).
• A profile panel – BBC's Elder Statesman, 8 April, page 7 – said that David Attenborough was the first controller when BBC2 started in 1965. In fact, Michael Peacock launched the TV station in 1964 as controller. David Attenborough succeeded in 1965 when Peacock was named BBC1 controller.
• A piece mentioned Poland's upcoming EU presidency term in January 2012; that should have been July (The battle for Europe's last primeval forest, 6 April, page 24).
